What we collect, and why

Last updated October 2026

This page covers beakerstreet.ai. It is run by [company legal name, registered address]. If you have a question about your data, write to hello@beakerstreet.ai.

If you sign up for the brief

We collect your email address, the page you signed up from, and any campaign tags in the link you used (for example, that you came from a LinkedIn post). We use them to send you The Beaker Street Brief twice a month and to understand which channels bring readers.

Your address is stored in our own database and with Resend, the service we use to send the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all mail from us. We do not sell or rent your address.

If you book a call

Bookings go through our calendar provider, which collects your name, email and your answer to the intake question. With your consent at the start of the call, we record and transcribe the conversation so we can compare notes across interviews. We share findings only in aggregate, without your name, unless you agree otherwise.

Analytics

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No advertising or tracking cookies are set on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep your email while you are subscribed and delete it within 30 days of a request. Call notes are kept for the length of the research phase and then summarized without names.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@beakerstreet.ai. If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with a data protection authority, you can also complain to it.
